I found a pattern for this on Burda Style that was better than anything else I’ve seen. I tried it out – with a few minor adjustments.
I used elastic covered in matching fabric instead of ribbon & patch worked it instead of using just one solid fabric. I guess thats the best thing about eye masks – there are soo many ways of doing them! 🙂
So today I had a pile of fabric scraps next to my sewing machine… and I looked over and saw my clear glass ball ornaments that I had bought a couple of years ago – which I meant to paint… but never did! I was thinking that MAN that might look cute hanging from a tree – and they did turn out halfway decent looking!
Let me know what you think!
So I might as well admit it – I bought myself a Nintedo DS! I know it may seem like a childish thing to do – but have you seen all the commercials with the celebrity’s?! If you haven’t then you should – if you have – then you know how convincing they are! Haha!
Well… since I bought one I didn’t want it to get all scratched up – because not only would be husband be very mad, but it would be like I was wasting all that money I spent! So I made a case for it! Also – I was told not to get pink…because Jeremy wants to play it to! Ha – so I guess its not JUST me that thinks they are cool! So anyway – I wanted something to make it a little prettier… and I did!
Priss Pot has finally gotten some NEW super cool – UNIQUE fabrics! These items will be posted on Etsy soon when they are all finished! So be on the look out!
The vinal and bias tape still has to be added on to the bibs!
And on the flip side…
I now can make booties in sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 months! This is my first attempt at a bigger size and they turned out great! I love the new fabrics I have to – it gives the Priss Pot name such a new upbeat look – which I think – is just what it needed! 🙂
Here is the newest edition to the coiled baskets – a coaster! I will be selling this set at the festival!

Get it… like Little House on the Prairie?! I know I’m a nerd.. don’t be afraid to let me know. :o)
These are super cute.. and I am very pleased with the turn out. I got the idea from a flickr search… just like always! Hope you like them!
I am also bringing these along with me to the craft festival! I wanted to keep them for myself… but my little dog will eat them – he already tried!
Here a couple new ones that I will be selling at my craft festival! If you like them enough… I guess you’ll just have to stop by! 🙂
So I saw this on Craftzine… just like everything else I see… haha! But the link is: here. But it looked so cute! Now mine isn’t even near as cute as the one featured but I wanted to see if I could make one! But mine is kinda square… not sure how that happened! But I am going to make some cuter ones, along with some smelly good bath powders! (I might even add in some glitter 🙂 yay!)
The napkin holder that I started a couple of days ago is all finished! I got a wood plaque for the clips to attach to and made the napkins! Now I feel a little bit better about being environmentally friendly! I still have a long ways to go though!
I forgot to mention that me and Jeremy also bought some reusable shopping bags! We’re going to try to always use those and never have to take home plastic bags! 🙂
