I am not a very good cook… but I really want to be! I want to be a woman who’s husband and kids just die to eat that pie or cake or cookies or whatever at holidays… and who can’t wait to come home and eat dinner! But right now…. I’m not even close! Haha!
Jeremys favorite icing is some funfetti icing that he just loves but can’t ever find anywhere! So we were shopping the other day and we found it! So of course we had to get it and make a cake! But I found these super cute little tiny bunt cake molds and I really wanted to make his cake in them! Well… lets just say they didn’t turn out beautiful. But he ate it… and I think he thought it was good!

So as you can see my cake was far from beautiful…. so I have decided that I am going to take some cake decorating classes! I don’t know when the next ones are coming up but when it does you can count me in! I just love making desserts and so I want to be good at it when I do! Expect more cooking posts to come… and expect to gradually be impressed…. but don’t be shocked if it takes a while to get that way!

I made dinner! With just a little help from Jeremy! If you know me… then you know that I don’t cook often! BUT the cool thing about this Chicken Pot Pie was that I didn’t use a recipe I just came up with it in my head! I used:
2 Deep Dish Pie Shells (room temp)
3 Chickens (grilled w/ salt and pepper)
1 bag of Mixed Veggies w/ a can of Mushrooms mixed in (sauteed with Mrs. Dash on top… and a little salt)
2 cans of either Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken soup (no water added in)
1 box of Cornbread Stuffing (pre-cooked)
Put all the in ingredients in the 2 pie shells and cook at 375 for 15 minutes or so… and your done!
YUMM!

YUM! I made it from the Nilla Wafers box… and I was super proud of myself! But I did have help from my StepMom Melissa!

This one is pretty cool… and I give all the credit to Jeremy… who was very proud of himself by the way!

Here is my Dad with the finished product… I promised him I would put it on my blog! He LOVES banana pudding! And so do I! Just so you know… this is my Dads version of a smile when a picture is taken!
)

And one more… just show how yummy it was!

So me and my friends have decided to have a craft night once a month to make Christmas gifts, or just to make some fun crafts together! I hosted our first one at my house and decided to make it a little luau just for fun!
We made Altoid Tin wallets from the craft project on: Altoids Tin Wallet
Mine was no doubt a CRAFTASTROPHE which was what my friend decided to call it! She said I should turn it into something that would be considered to be CRAFTASTIC but I’m not sure mine is repairable… it sorta broke the tin! I am planning on making another one though… the correct way this time! It was a fun craft night regardless!
Fruit Dip Recipe:
I also wanted to share a quick recipe that I found for a fruit dip! All you do is mix a jar of marshmallow cream, a thing of cream cheese and some cherry juice from a jar of cherries! I also chopped up some of the cherries to mix in it as well… but really that step is optional! It was soo yummy with the fruit skewers!
