Get it… like Little House on the Prairie?! I know I’m a nerd.. don’t be afraid to let me know.
)
These are super cute.. and I am very pleased with the turn out. I got the idea from a flickr search… just like always! Hope you like them!
I am also bringing these along with me to the craft festival! I wanted to keep them for myself… but my little dog will eat them – he already tried!

Powder Puff

So I saw this on Craftzine… just like everything else I see… haha! But the link is: here. But it looked so cute! Now mine isn’t even near as cute as the one featured but I wanted to see if I could make one! But mine is kinda square… not sure how that happened! But I am going to make some cuter ones, along with some smelly good bath powders! (I might even add in some glitter
yay!)

And… I finished it!

The napkin holder that I started a couple of days ago is all finished! I got a wood plaque for the clips to attach to and made the napkins! Now I feel a little bit better about being environmentally friendly! I still have a long ways to go though!
I forgot to mention that me and Jeremy also bought some reusable shopping bags! We’re going to try to always use those and never have to take home plastic bags!

Ok… its offical… this is my FAVORITE thing I have ever made. I saw the idea on the Craftzine blog and loved it! So I got the materials, (all I actually had to buy was clothesline)… and I made it!
This is a VERY ROUGH first version… but more amazing than anything else I’ve ever made!

A Little Apron
September 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I made an APRON! This was my first one so its not as beautiful as it could be… but I tried and I’m pretty happy with it! I even put some ruffles on it… first time making ruffles to! Hope you like it!
Heres a few with the apron on… but since nobody is here to take a picture of me… I took them myself! I liked the bow in the back though so I just had to get a picture!
Excuse the extra wide backside… lol!

While sitting in a Barnes and Noble…
September 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I became inspired from the many craft books that I was browsing through. I now have tons of ideas… even more than I already had… floating around in my head. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of the books that I found these crafts in… but here are some of the things that I was inspired to make!
So this was supposed to be a little bag kinda thing… but it was way huge with the little flaps! So I thought it looked like a good little bread basket thing for when we have guests or are making a cute little meal! But the best part about buying these bandannas was the “50 Craft Uses for a Bandanna” on the package that was with them! I am only going to list the ones that I think are awesome… because 50 is kinda a lot!
18 Crafty Uses for a Bandanna:
Fancy food wrapper, Napkin, Placemat, Emergency diaper, Baby bib, Pet fashions, Fancy gift wrap, Stuff & make a pillow, Sew together for a quilt, Embellish a tote bag or apron, Cover a lampshade, Create a bulletin board, Jewelry travel pouch, Napkins Rings, Make a girl’s skirt, Chair backs & cushions, Create a tree skirt!
And here is one more thing that I was inspired to make…. its really not that great… but a good first try none the less! The little bows could be used to decorate all kinds of crafts… right after I perfect them I will put them on something!

Perler Bead Coasters
September 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment
So we had a Craft Day instead of a Craft night like usual today…. and we did the perler bead craft! I made my final coasters like I said I would… and they turned out pretty cute! I still have to get the cork for the bottoms but the design is finished!
)
My friends made some stuff to… and Millicent made a post-it note holder! She made the squares to look like little robot heads… the square you can see the best is winking at us…take a look!
