HPFWC Craft Festival

This wasn’t as successful as I planned on it being – or had hoped it would be. But it was a good learning experience and I did sell a couple of items as well as get one custom order placed! Here are a few pictures from my table…

At the festival I ended up leaving a little early and spending the day with my sister instead. I wanted to put this picture up from the tiny photo shoot we had because I just love it.

The Craft Festival that I have been preparing for all this time has finally come! It will be tomorrow Sat Nov, 8th at Highest Praise Family Worship Center in China Grove, NC from 7-2. Come out and visit my booth & look around at everyone else’s as well!

A Couple of Bank Robbers!

Not really – but thats what we dressed up as for Halloween. We both had to work – so it wasn’t like we needed to dress up super fancy – so this was an easy way to go!

Baxter had a pumpkin shirt! In the past he has been Dwight Schrute from the Office, a cowboy and a hotdog! Here are some pics from previous years!

Yes he has a wig on… we got it from Build-a-Bear workshop! Haha! And I made our little badges in Illustrator! I made Baxter’s tie and t-shirt, (from a white button up baby shirt,) as well!

We really wanted to have a Dwight bobble head – but no luck.

This is from 2007 – and we went to the 1075kzl Dogoween – and me and Jeremy were Jim & Pam! But we didn’t win because they didn’t really know what The Office was?!

This is from 2006. And by the way… this picture won a photo contest in First Magazine last year during Halloween! Yay for my tiny celebrity dog!

This is from 2006 as well – we just dressed him up just for fun – not for Halloween. He was only a couple of months old.

Priss Pot Price Tags

In preparation for the craft festival I wanted to go ahead and begin pricing my items. Instead of buying the expensive – and not so cute – price tags I saw in the store… I decided to make them on my own. I got a cute little stamp cut-out and some nice paper – with some stamps to brand them with… and WALA!

And here is one of Baxter that I just couldn’t pass up! I caught him being adorable while I was crafting!

Coiled Coasters

Here is the newest edition to the coiled baskets – a coaster! I will be selling this set at the festival!

Little House on the Pillow

Get it… like Little House on the Prairie?! I know I’m a nerd.. don’t be afraid to let me know. )

These are super cute.. and I am very pleased with the turn out. I got the idea from a flickr search… just like always! Hope you like them!

I am also bringing these along with me to the craft festival! I wanted to keep them for myself… but my little dog will eat them – he already tried!

Coffee Cozy

I got this idea from a knitted coffee holder that I saw! I decided to try it out with felt! It fits perfectly for a Starbucks coffee cup… or a cup from any other place I’m sure! I hope you like them… I’m in love!

The place that I am selling my stuff at for the Craft Festival has lots of people that love coffee… so I might make a few of these to bring with me to!

Craft Festival Prep

I have been making stuff for the craft festival a lot lately since I only have a month left… and today I made some new tooth fairy pillows! They aren’t stuffed yet and the pictures aren’t as good as I hoped… but you can still get the just of it!

So its a very rainy day and the light was terrible… and yes they are hanging on my blinds with clothespins… it was the best light I could get without a terrible washed out flash taking away the color! )

Birthday Card

So my Mom’s birthday is coming up and I haven’t quite figured out what to get her yet… and I will be giving it to her at the beach next week! Since I didn’t know yet… I figured I would make her a sweet little card to see if I got inspired about anything else….which didn’t work… but I embroidered it! It came out pretty cute!

Felt Tooth Pillow with CRAZY Hair

So here is my 2nd version of my tooth fairy pillow… this one has crazy hair! In my opinion its a little cuter than the 1st one… the more I make the more ADORABLE they will be!

I also decided instead of trying to manage and deal with an Etsy site… I am going to sell my stuff at some local festivals this year first… to see how it goes! The first one I am going to attend is the AUTUMN JUBILEE in SALISBURY, NC OCTOBER 4-5th! Autumn Jubliee Link
I have my work cut out for me but I’m so excited that I don’t care! So go ahead and plan on attending!
